OpportuLand in France seeks a Laravel Engineer to develop backend services with PHP/Laravel and contribute to a TypeScript/React frontend when needed. You will design scalable APIs, optimize databases, and collaborate with product and design teams to deliver features in iterative sprints.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, strong SQL, REST API design, and a passion for architecture. Hybrid or remote work options are available, with a culture that embraces AI-assisted development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with PHP/Laravel as the primary backend stack.
• Strong SQL knowledge; ability to write queries, understand indexes and reason about performance.
• Experience building or consuming REST APIs and working with JSON integrations.
• Genuine architecture-thinking; able to defend decisions with data.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain backend and frontend services using Laravel and TypeScript.
• Design, document, and defend architectural decisions for new features and refactors.
• Design and optimize backend systems and databases to serve customers.
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve production issues.
