An innovative UK-based company, Urban Linker, is seeking a back-end developer to join their remote team. In this role, you will design and implement new features on a high-growth platform, working closely with product teams. Ideal candidates will have substantial experience with PHP and Symfony, and will thrive in a collaborative and autonomous environment.

The company is UK-based with French founders, and a distributed team of 20 engineers working in small, autonomous product squads .
JOB DESCRIPTION
You’ll join a squad of 5 (developers, tech lead, PM) working on a high-growth platform.
Your responsibilities : design and develop new features, ensure clean and scalable code, and contribute to technical decisions and product quality.
PHP 8 / Symfony
AWS / OVH
Strong product collaboration (devs are involved early in the discovery phase)
Clear delivery process : tech discovery, scoped specs, autonomy and ownership
PACKAGE
Full remote from anywhere in Europe
Full-time (permanent)
50–55K gross / year
Team retreat once a year + Symfony conference sponsorship
REQUIRED PROFILE
At least 5 years of experience in back-end development, including strong Symfony skills
Experience in a product-driven environment (not just agency or service work)
Ability to understand business needs , break them down, and translate them into smart technical solutions
Comfortable working remotely with strong async communication skills
React is a nice bonus, but not required. What matters most is how you think and how you build
