Job summary

Checkout.com is seeking a Senior Analyst – Permanent Controls in Paris. You will join a global 2LoD function focused on the financial perimeter, exercising independent oversight and monitoring over finance processes.

You’ll partner with 1LoD to design robust controls and ensure regulatory compliance. The role demands 5 years in financial audit, internal control, or financial reporting within financial services or payments, plus fluency in French and English.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in Financial Audit, Internal Control, or Financial Reporting within financial services, banking, fintech or payments.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and ACPR expectations is strongly preferred.
• Fluency in French and English is required.

Responsibilities

• Translate identified risks into 2nd line control plans, standards, and templates.
• Collaborate with 1LoD to align control matrices with internal standards and regulators’ expectations (ACPR, FCA).
• Execute second line permanent controls across global perimeters and ensure data accuracy and compliance.
• Present control findings and remediation progress to the Head of Permanent Controls.
• Identify control gaps and drive improvements to the control framework.
• Support automation of control tools, dashboards, and monitoring systems whenever possible.
