Senior Performance Analyst

Our client, a leading global reinsurers based in Paris is looking for their new Senior Performance Analyst to join their legal entity finance team. You will play a key role in financial planning, forecasting, quarterly financial analysis, and ad hoc business analytics across multiple regions. This is a broad role with exposure to multi-GAAP financial management, close collaboration with regional CFOs, and engagement with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the annual operating planning and landing process for the legal entity under French GAAP and IFRS frameworks.
  • Manage quarterly financial analysis including detailed variance analysis and performance drivers.
  • Develop and maintain entity-wide planning and analysis tools.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis on projects impacting the legal entity.
  • Support finance transformation initiatives by standardizing processes and improving operational efficiency.
  • Engage effectively with senior stakeholders across regions and functions, ensuring clear communication of risks and issues.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in insurance, finance, actuarial
  • Strong technical knowledge of actuarial principles, IFRS, and French GAAP accounting within an insurance context.
  • Advanced data management and analytical skills, including excellent Excel capabilities (VBA and macros preferred).
  • Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across diverse cultures.
  • Fluent in English and French
