We're looking for a Senior Partnership Manager to join our Commerce team and drive strategic partnerships that fuel our growth pipeline. This role is critical to expanding our market presence and establishing Lazer as the go-to partner for enterprise commerce solutions.

You’ll represent Lazer at industry events, forge new relationships with decision-makers (AEs, team leads, execs), and generate qualified partnership opportunities to keep our sales pipeline healthy and primed.

This isn’t a traditional sales role — your focus is on connection and co-creation, not closing. You’ll identify the right opportunities and tee them up for our sales team, acting as a force multiplier for our growth efforts.

Key Responsibilities:Partnership Development & Relationship Management
  • Foster and develop deep relationships with key Shopify stakeholders, including Account Executives, Solution Engineers, Partner Managers, and leadership team members

  • Build and maintain a robust network of contacts across the Shopify ecosystem

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Lazer and Shopify, ensuring alignment on strategic initiatives

Lead Generation & Pipeline Development
  • Generate qualified leads through strategic partner relationships and referrals

  • Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities that align with business objectives

  • Develop and execute partner-driven marketing initiatives and co-marketing campaigns

Event Management & Industry Presence
  • Represent Lazer at key industry events, conferences, and Shopify-sponsored gatherings

  • Plan and coordinate strategic attendance at relevant trade shows and networking events

  • Organize and host partner events, meetups, and relationship-building activities

Sales Enablement & Co-Selling
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure smooth handoff of qualified leads

  • Participate in co-selling opportunities with Shopify and other strategic partners

  • Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to support sales efforts

  • Develop joint value propositions and partnership messaging

Strategic Planning & Execution
  • Create and maintain comprehensive partnership strategies and account plans

  • Track and report on partnership performance metrics and ROI

  • Identify new partnership channels and revenue opportunities

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Delivery teams

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in partnership management, business development, or channel sales

  • Proven track record working with technology platforms, preferably e-commerce or SaaS

  • Experience with Shopify ecosystem or similar platform partnerships highly preferred

  • Background in agency, consulting, or professional services environment is a plus

  • Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills

  • Experience with CRM systems and partnership management tools

  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently in a remote environment

  • Deep understanding of e-commerce landscape and trends

  • Knowledge of Shopify platform, apps, and partner ecosystem

  • Willingness and ability to travel for industry events and partner meetings
