Responsibilities (Text Only)
Territory: Leveraging global/regional guidance, build local strategy & execution plan and coverage. Manage agency teams, ensuring coverage effectiveness and execution excellence. Capture data and insights to meet target metrics and create feedback loops for GRS teams and broader stakeholders.
Omnichannel Strategy:
- Establish and leverage local customer journey maps to design and deliver unique Microsoft product experiences across retail and distribution partners.
- Lead a cross-functional marketing council to drive alignment, efficiency, and synergy across owned & operated, digital direct, and partner channels.
- Activate ecommerce sales motions through digital marketing excellence, mobile-first executions, and social commerce.
- Influence conversion in-store and online through seamless and connected experiences.
- Optimize retail presence by implementing and maintaining in-store programs and experiences.
- Build brand advocates among retail sellers and consumers through training, evangelism, and community engagement platforms.
Consumer and Partner Marketing Execution:
- Localize global strategies, campaigns, and assets for territories and retail partners to drive adoption and usage of global programs, platforms, and playbooks.
- Create a Gaming marketing calendar to represent key product campaigns, seasonal beats, and launches across markets and partners.
- Coordinate marketing plans across disciplines and functions, working closely with Partner Marketers, Partner Readiness & Influence, Global Media, Integrated Marketing, PR, and Category teams.
- Drive and activate a distribution strategy and playbook.
- Implement product launches, seasonal initiatives, and sustained marketing efforts effectively.
Execution Excellence:
- Participate actively in the Gaming channel marketing community for effective communication and clarity.
- Meet deadlines, budgets, and scorecard targets while exploring innovation opportunities.
- Generate and review monthly and quarterly feedback and reports supporting business milestones and digital/in-store execution excellence for Gaming.
- Analyze and share insights from ratings & reviews, voice-of-the-customer, and word-of-the-street feedback.
- Leverage analytics and insights to improve investment strategies and marketing execution for greater impact.
- Maintain brand consistency and a deep understanding of customer, competitive, and marketing landscapes.
- Proficient in Microsoft programs, platforms, and tools.
Qualifications (Text Only)
Required/Minimum Qualifications (RQs/MQs):
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field AND 10+ years' experience in digital, retail, channel marketing, or related areas OR equivalent experience.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications (PQs):
- 5+ years relevant experience in Retail/Channel Marketing/Marketing/Retail Sales.
- Proven success in marketing and execution planning, especially Retail Marketing with Consumer Technology products.
- Adept at building integrated marketing plans across multiple disciplines.
- Experience working with partners and delivering growth/performance metrics.
- Understanding of digital and physical buying journeys, sales channels, and commerce platforms.
- Track record of marketing execution excellence and ROI through planning, operations, creativity, and analytics.
- Experience with new product launches.
- High affinity and passion for gaming.
Change Management:
- Ability to define and implement procedures or technologies to manage environmental changes.
- Experience managing ambiguity and rapid change, demonstrating agility and risk-taking.
