Joining our energy operations team, you will contribute to the deployment of new products in the short-term energy markets or auxiliary services, ensuring smooth operational processes.

You will participate in planning and optimizing the French virtual power plant (VPP) to provide these products and in the prequalification of the tiko virtual power plant by RTE. You will work closely with RTE, actively participating in working groups, and contribute to drafting the specifications for VPP products.

You will be responsible for managing operations related to primary reserves (Frequency Containment Reserve), secondary reserves (automatic Frequency Restoration Reserves), and energy products (NEBEF, EPEX Spot). Additionally, you will support 24/7 energy operations in collaboration with the IT operations team.

Candidate Profile:

• Master's level scientific or technical education (e.g., engineering school diploma), preferably in electrical/mechanical engineering, physics/mathematics, or computer science
• At least 4 years of experience in the French auxiliary services market (R1, R2, MA) and energy markets (NEBEF, EPEX Spot)
• Knowledge of Python, Linux systems, and SQL is advantageous
• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to clearly describe complex technical issues; experience in writing system specifications is a plus
• Willingness to participate in operational on-call duties
• Fluent in English and French; additional languages are a plus
• Valid EU work permit
