Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Ninja Quality NPD Team for new products to ensure the customer voice is converted into product primary function clearly.
  • Manage risks during the NPD process, including identifying, communicating, and coordinating discussions on project risk assessment.
  • Lead discussions related to glassware, including RCA type selection and design validation.
  • Coordinate the EB build and ensure conditions for EB starts are met before EB.
  • Review Jira and ensure the correct RCA / 5 Whys approach is used.
  • Review design and prototype from DFM & VAVE & design for automation point of view.
  • Review design to ensure the NUDD is fully validated from tolerance stack and FEA or testing.
  • Review DFMEA with US / UK team and OEM supplier to ensure main risk items are tracked.
  • Deliver key NPD Quality Work Packages to Robust design and Safe Launch.
  • Drive Continuous Design Optimization Improvement for existing products.
  • Support Process Control Plans & PFMEA / DQTP quality activities and review on an ongoing basis.
  • Support 2 / 3 tier supplier quality development plan.
  • Organize project and product lessons learned and ensure they are converted to standardized design checklist management and process improvement plans.
Skills:
  • 8 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • At least 5 years of mechanical design experience in the home appliance product category is preferred.
  • Extensive top management experience in Design & New Product Introduction with quality management experience is preferred but not a must.
  • Fluent spoken English is a must.
  • Strong tolerance analysis capability and knowledge in molding processes.
  • Strong leadership and good internal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated high level of confidence and self-motivation.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and high level of deliverability.
  • Practical experience in metrology, test inspection, and analysis techniques.
  • Basic knowledge of quality tools to drive supplier quality professionally.
  • Proactive and optimistic.
  • Action/result-oriented: Achieves high-level sustainable performance and results, driving positive change.
  • High risk insight capability and demonstrated decision-making ability.
Minimum Qualifications / Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline from top universities; a Master's or Advanced Degree will be a plus.
  • 3 years of engineering or product engineering experience working from concept through to continuous production support.
  • Good English speaking skills with presentable communication; Mandarin speaking is a must.
  • Willingness to travel when needed.
