Senior Night CarerPermanent

Night Shifts 22.00pm - 8am
Start Date:
ASAP
Salary/ Hourly rate: £12.50- £12.70ph (depending on shift pattern)

We are recruiting for dedicated, passionate and experienced Senior Night Carer for one of our clients based in Diss, Norfolk.

The main duties to include but not be limited to:

• Be medication trained
• Have worked in a similar care home setting and have experience with Dementia patients
• Take responsibility for running the shift and delegating tasks
• Act as the senior responder in any emergency situations
• Support staff and residents throughout the night, ensuring all care is person-centred and professionally delivered
• Lead on safeguarding concerns and reporting
• Be confident in reviewing and updating care plans, understanding and applying DoLS (Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards), and contributing to mental health and wellbeing monitoring
• Ensure excellent documentation and communication with the management team

Requirements for the role:

• UK experience as a Senior Carer is essential
• Must be reliable
• Must be resilient and compassionate
• Excellent communication skills
• Must hold full UK driving licence and have access to own transport
• Online DBS Desirable but not essential
