ixolabs.ai is seeking a seasoned frontend engineer to build scalable applications using Next.js, Redis and SQL, delivering cohesive frontend, API and database architecture.

You will implement authentication, data management, real-time behavior and reporting, using Tailwind for responsive interfaces and ensuring efficient data flow, with clear documentation of design and implementation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years software engineering experience or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of frontend/backend integration and data flow design.
• Experience with authentication, caching, and real-time features.

Work you will do

• Build functional applications using Next.js, Redis and SQL, with appropriate frontend, API and database architecture.
• Implement authentication, data management, real-time behavior, reporting and business logic as the application requires.
• Use Tailwind for responsive interfaces and verify efficient data flow across the frontend, cache and database; document the design and implementation clearly.

Required background and routes

• Production proficiency in Next.js, including API routes and server rendering, Redis caching/session/realtime behavior, SQL schema/query/relationship optimization and Tailwind CSS.
• Connect frontend, cache and database layers coherently and design efficient application data flows. At least five software-engineering years are required.

Deliverables

Submit the completed technical artifact or assessment with its supporting evidence, explicit assumptions, reproducible checks where applicable, and concise reasons for each material judgment. Address review findings within the agreed scope.

Location and schedule

Remote assignments are scheduled by agreement, with no guaranteed weekly volume. IXO confirms the applicable timing before work.

Pay and working terms

$105 $190/hr USD. The agreed hourly rate, scope, schedule and acceptance criteria are confirmed before work starts. Applying does not guarantee an assignment.
