You will lead hands-on design, implementation, and troubleshooting of LAN/WAN, data centre, and security-focused networks, collaborating with cybersecurity, architecture, and operations teams, and ensuring documentation and standard configurations are followed.

Responsabilités

• Design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, data centre, and enterprise networks.
• Manage routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and related infrastructure.
• Support routing and switching technologies including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, and HA protocols.
• Monitor network availability, performance, capacity, and security.
• Investigate incidents and perform root-cause analysis.

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer Specialist to design, operate, secure, and optimise complex enterprise network infrastructure in a mission-critical and highly secure environment.

The role requires strong hands-on networking expertise, advanced troubleshooting skills, and experience supporting highly available infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, data centre, and enterprise network environments.
• Manage routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and related network infrastructure.
• Support routing and switching technologies including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, and high-availability protocols.
• Monitor network availability, performance, capacity, and security.
• Investigate complex incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Implement network segmentation, firewall rules, VPNs, and secure access controls.
• Support network upgrades, migrations, resilience, and disaster recovery activities.
• Maintain technical documentation, diagrams, procedures, and configuration standards.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, architecture, and operations teams.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to other engineers.

Required Skills

• Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and network security.
• Hands-on experience with technologies from Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point, Juniper, F5, Aruba, or equivalent.
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, SNMP, NetFlow, Splunk, SolarWinds, Zabbix, or similar.
• Knowledge of network automation tools such as Ansible, Python, REST APIs, or Git is an advantage.
• Experience in highly available, secure, or regulated environments is highly desirable.

Profile

• Several years of professional experience in network engineering or infrastructure operations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage critical incidents.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, Fortinet, Check Point, Juniper, or equivalent are an advantage.
