We are looking for a Senior Network Architect to join our engineering team and lead the evolution of our network and systems architecture. You will play a key role in shaping and maintaining our backbone infrastructure, ensuring that it meets current demands and scales for future growth. Your mission will blend day-to-day engineering work with long-term architectural vision, driving both technical excellence and operational efficiency.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on architect with deep expertise in network protocols, automation, and carrier-grade platforms, and a passion for designing scalable, resilient, and cost-effective network solutions.

Tasks

- Design and maintain our core and backbone network architecture in collaboration with system, software, and infrastructure teams.

- Create and maintain architecture documentation, templates, and configuration models (YANG, XML, flat files).

- Lead the development of target designs for both custom and standardized deployments.

- Provide technical guidance and playbooks to operational support teams (NOC, SOC, etc.).

- Evaluate and recommend cost-effective solutions aligned with business and technical objectives.

- Contribute to product roadmap and network automation strategy.

- Support service orchestration and automation tools such as Cisco NSO.

Requirements

- 7+ years of experience in network architecture, ideally in a service provider or carrier environment.

- Hands-on experience with carrier-grade routers, switches, and optical equipment.

- Deep understanding of networking protocols and standards including:

• MPLS, DWDM, Ethernet

• TCP/IP, ISIS, BGP

• SIP, DNS/DHCP, QoS, SNMP

- Strong proficiency with Juniper and Cisco platforms.

- Experience with Cisco Network Services Orchestrator (NSO).

- Solid scripting and automation knowledge (Python, APIs, YANG models).

- Fluent English is mandatory.

- Strong problem-solving, team collaboration, and documentation skills.
