Pennylane SAS is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer — Embedded AI to turn complex accounting problems into trusted ML products used daily. You will design and ship ML systems for document understanding, classification, matching and automation, collaborating with product squads and accounting experts.

You will own the full lifecycle from problem framing to deployment and monitoring, improving data quality and shaping the Embedded AI roadmap.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in Python and ML
• Hands-on experience building ML systems in production
• Experience with document understanding, classification and NLP
• Familiarity with metrics and monitoring of ML systems

Responsabilités

• Design and ship ML systems for document understanding, extraction, classification, matching, ranking, scoring and recommendations.
• Own the full lifecycle: problem framing, data labeling, baselines, training, evaluation, deployment, experimentation and monitoring.
• Turn user corrections and production failures into better datasets and models.
• Define quality metrics reflecting user value: precision, recall, automation and latency.
• Partner with Product, Engineering and accounting experts to integrate ML into user experience.
