Keysight Technologies is seeking an experienced Meshing Algorithm Engineer to advance state-of-the-art mesh generation for CAE workflows. You will contribute to 2D and 3D meshing algorithms, geometry processing, and high-performance C++ development within a collaborative, international team.

The role emphasizes robust software practices, scalability, and integration with simulation pipelines across multiple domains, including crash and casting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Computational Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
  • Strong industrial experience developing 2D and/or 3D meshing algorithms.
  • Strong C/C++ software development experience.
  • Experience with unstructured meshing techniques and computational geometry concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with complex engineering or simulation software.

Responsabilités

  • Develop and optimize advanced algorithms for meshing.
  • 2D surface meshing (triangular and quad-dominant) and 3D volume meshing (hexa-, tetrahedral, and hybrid).
  • Mesh refinement, coarsening, smoothing, morphing, and offsetting.
  • Maintain a large-scale C/C++ meshing codebase with focus on performance, scalability, and robustness.
  • Design meshing workflows and strategies for CAE simulations.
  • Improve CAD-to-mesh conversion processes, geometry cleanup, and mesh adaptation techniques.
  • Analyze and resolve complex meshing quality and topology challenges.
  • Collaborate with global engineering teams on software design, debugging, validation, and testing.
  • Drive features end-to-end from concept and implementation through testing and delivery.
  • Contribute to software quality, coding standards, and automated testing practices.
