We’re hiring Software Engineers for CAD Assembly/DMU Algorithms.
Location: Boulogne-Billancourt, France (Heart of the city, close to Metro Marcel Sembat & Paris).
About the Role
We are seeking talented and experienced engineers to join our next-generation 3D GeoShape CAD solution.
In this organization, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining next‑generation CAD applications for the PLM market.
Our solutions target cloud architectures and modern web‑based front‑ends, while relying on robust C++ core technologies.
You will collaborate closely with product managers, CAD Apps developers, geometry kernel experts, and PLM teams to deliver robust, intuitive, powerful, and scalable CAD experiences.
- Design and develop Assembly/Digital Mockup (DMU) Algorithms
- Develop algorithms and data structures for optimized performance for large‑scale assemblies for loading, visualization, interference checking, measurements, envelope computation, kinematics simulation …
- Participate to software architecture design.
- Collaborate with CAD apps, CAE apps, PLM infrastructure, as well as with geometry kernel, constraint solver, visualization, cloud infrastructure teams.
- Investigate customer issues, reproduce and resolve defects, and ensure software reliability across configurations.
- Support continuous improvement in software architecture, coding standards, and automation.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and architecture reviews with multi-disciplinary teams.
Qualifications
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, CAD, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in design, development and deployment of algorithmic components for CAD/CAE/CAM/PLM solutions.
- Solid experience in designing algorithms for 3D, and experience in using/developing geometrical kernel (Parasolid, ACIS, CGM) and constraint solver (DCM), and understanding of industrial software requirements.
- Autonomy, leadership skills and excellent teamwork abilities while collaborating with distributed teams.
- Experience in PLM or CAE processes is welcome.
- Exposure to cloud-based CAD architectures.
- Interest or experience in AI applied to CAD / geometry / engineering.
