Job summary

Zimmermann seeks a Senior Merchandiser – Footwear & Jewellery to join our Paris headquarters, reporting to the Senior Merchandising Manager. You will lead collection and sales merchandising across global functions for Shoes and Jewellery, drive pricing, and ensure margins.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in merchandising at international fashion houses, a creative yet analytical mindset, strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, and fluency in French and English, with comfort collaborating with teams

Qualifications

• 7+ years of merchandising experience at international fashion houses.
• Significant experience in Shoes and footwear categories.
• Creative mindset with strong analytical skills.
• Proactive, capable of managing projects with teams in Australia.
• Proven leadership and talent development experience.
• Excellent communication in French and English; able to collaborate with creative and commercial teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the product strategy to gain market share and long-term growth in line with the brand vision.
• Build collection structure and briefing for designers with input from the Artistic Director and sales data.
• Oversee collection development from concept to final product, track budgets and margins.
• Define pricing across currencies and monitor pricing throughout the season.
• Ensure product database accuracy and establish efficient review processes with deadlines.
• Build delivery drops, purchasing guidelines, and core assortments across channels.
• Develop and lead collection presentations and training for Retail and Wholesale teams.
