MaiaSpace is seeking a First Stage Senior Design Engineer to define stage layout and interfaces, and to perform cross‑functional trade‑offs that meet mass and cost targets. You will deliver 3D CAD models for the First Stage and drive the definition in Solidworks PDM, proposing robust hardware solutions for lines, harnesses and supports.

Joining a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate across teams and suppliers, contribute to anomaly treatment, and support manufacturing and validation in

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical architecture activities for vehicles (automotive, naval, aerospace, space).
• Experience in CAD design with Solidworks.
• Knowledge of bill-of-material management with Solidworks PDM or equivalent.
• Knowledge of metallic materials and manufacturing processes.
• English level sufficient to read/write technical documentation and to present on technical topics.

Responsabilités

• Define stage layout and ensure coherent stage interfaces.
• Perform trade-offs to meet mass and cost targets.
• 3D CAD modelling of First Stage and manage definitions in Solidworks PDM.
• Propose hardware designs for lines, harnesses, supports, and tank equipment.
• Coordinate with MaiaSpace teams and suppliers to reach best compromise.
• Support manufacturing and integration teams with industrialization.
• Contribute to anomaly treatment.
