Within the framework of endurance racing projects, Oreca Motorsport is looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer H / F based in Signes, near the Paul Ricard circuit, VAR, FRANCE. Inside our design office & Assigned to the DIrector of Engineering, you will manage design of functional sub assemblies of a race car as part of projects such as prototypes, GT.Inside our design office & Assigned to the DIrector of Engineering, your missions will BE to : - Design of components and mechanical assemblies related to endurance- Find technical solutions for internal customer issues,- Delivering complete studies of sub-assemblies of a racing car, such as suspensions, chassis, cooling, engine integration, etc., through solid modeling, surface modeling, and 2D drafting, with the goal of achieving high-performance, reliable solutions and optimized sizingThe scope of the involved components includes suspensions, wheels, hydraulic systems, fuel and cooling systems, as well as equipment for car homologation and its management track-side (such as legality checks, pit stop equipment, etc.).- BE in contact with the project manager to take into account time / budget constraints and risks as well that the supply chain, metrology, assembly and manufacturing teams,- Ensure the design of fully integrated systems with the simulation / modeling service based on conceptual ideas evaluated in simulation.- Oversight of the design mock-up activity in the design office,- Comply with all safety regulations across all venues.

Required experience & qualifications : - You have a background in mechanical engineering or technical design education, and you have significant experience of at least 8 years in motorsport, specifically in the development of high-performance components for racing car,- Professional experience in designing complex models in CATIA V5,- Good knowledge of CATIA V5 surface, solid and drawing modules,- Proficient in technical English communication, French is a plus,- Being passionate about motor sports is a plus.Personal Attributes : - Highly motivated and proactive with a strong passion for high-performance engineering,- Work consistently to a high standard in stressful and time-sensitive situations,- Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail,- Strong communication skills to collaborate, share knowledges with aerodynamicists, engineers, and designers,- Team-oriented with adaptability to meet tight deadlines and changing project requirements,- Independent with a strong sense of initiative and a drive for excellence,- Committed to continuous improvement and innovation in the field of motorsport.Why ORECA : - BE part of ambitious projects in the world of motorsport, covering the GT3, LMDh, and LMP2 categories.
