Fosun Group, a leading global investment conglomerate, is seeking a senior leader to serve as Senior Director/Advisor, overseeing operational transformation and strategic investment initiatives in the European consumer goods sector.

This role involves reengineering operational systems and constructing industry ecosystem barriers through capital operation expertise.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of leading large-scale corporate transformations in European fashion, F&B, and other consumer sectors, with specific experience in turnaround management. Responsibilities include driving operational efficiency, reshaping brand equity, and innovating investment strategies to support Fosun’s strategic goals in European consumer markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the restructuring of European business units, focusing on supply chain integration, manufacturing transformation, and cross-regional collaboration to improve efficiency by 30%+.
• Develop growth strategies including product development, market penetration, and user experience enhancements, especially in distressed enterprises.
• Identify investment opportunities in European consumer markets, focusing on unicorns and niche leaders with technological or ecosystem advantages.
• Manage multi-billion-dollar capital allocation plans, overseeing M&A, JVs, and divestments to meet IRR targets, with a focus on turnaround projects.
• Collaborate on ESG evaluation models for risk-return optimization.
• Formulate brand positioning strategies based on consumer analytics, driving digital transformation and brand revitalization.
• Redesign organizational structures, establish agile teams, and develop global talent pipelines, with experience in organizational turnarounds.
• Maintain relationships with industry networks and demonstrate crisis PR and resource restructuring capabilities.
• Establish early-warning systems for macroeconomic and regulatory changes, positioning for technological opportunities.

Candidate Requirements

• 20-25+ years in global consumer goods leadership, including 10+ years managing European operations or investments, with 5+ years in turnaround projects.
• Experience in building international brands and reversing declining market performance.
• Dual expertise in operational leadership and capital strategy, with at least two large-scale turnaround projects.
• Strong networks in European consumer industries and financial institutions, with resources for distressed asset transactions.
• Fluent in English and French, with cross-cultural leadership and crisis management skills.
• Professional certifications (CFA/FRM), with proficiency in enterprise valuation and restructuring, especially in distressed assets.
