Sompo is seeking an experienced Underwriter for their French Marine Underwriting Team in Paris. In this role, you will develop and expand client and broker relationships, supporting the profitability of Sompo's Marine portfolio.

The ideal candidate has over 10 years of underwriting experience in Marine Cargo, along with strong negotiation skills and technical knowledge of Marine exposures. The position offers a competitive compensation package with various benefits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience working in underwriting in Marine Cargo in France.
• Experience in underwriting Marine Hull is a plus.
• Good understanding of the insurance regulatory environment in France.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to the growth and profitability of Sompo Marine portfolio.
• Meet and negotiate with clients and brokers to build relationships.
• Perform contract negotiation and conduct underwriting reviews.
