Groupe PARLYM in France seeks a Senior Marine Hose Flexible Pipe Engineer - Offshore to lead design, calculation, and project execution for subsea systems and marine hoses. You will ensure compliance with codes, standards, and client requirements while mentoring junior engineers.

The role requires 5 to 10 years of Oil & Gas experience, strong systems engineering skills, and the ability to coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors across international projects.

Formación

• 5–10 years of experience in Oil & Gas required.
• Strong experience with engineering design and calculation tools.
• Proven concept development and detailed design capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Select methods and procedures and optimize design per specifications.
• Plan and deliver activities within schedule and budget; manage interfaces.
• Ensure Scope of Work complies with contractual and client requirements.
• Incorporate lessons learned and assess impact of changes on project boundaries.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and third parties per procedures.
• Possibly act as Package Engineer for design, procurement, and manufacturing.
• Mentor and supervise engineers within assigned work scopes.
• Possibly serve as Discipline Lead for a scope of work.

Position Purpose

By joining the team, you will take on the role of Senior Marine Hose Flexible Pipe Engineer - Offshore - M/W.

Your Responsibilities

In practical terms, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• You are responsible for selecting methods and procedures, executing the work, and optimizing the design within the framework of the defined specifications, in compliance with international codes, company standards, industry best practices, and applicable regulations.
• You are responsible for proactively planning and delivering activities and project deliverables within the agreed schedule and budget, as well as managing interfaces between systems.
• You ensure that your Scope of Work is executed in accordance with contractual requirements and the Client's internal requirements.
• You ensure that applicable lessons learned are taken into account, understanding the impact of changes both within and beyond the project system boundaries.
• You coordinate activities with suppliers, subcontractors, and third parties in accordance with contractual requirements and the Client's internal procedures.
• You may be appointed as a Package Engineer, with technical responsibility for the design, procurement, and manufacturing of the package.
• You begin mentoring and supervising engineers within the work scopes assigned to you.
• You may act as a Discipline Lead for a specific scope of work.
