Yahoo is seeking a hands-on Sr Manager, Corporate Accounting to own personnel accounting—payroll, benefits, restructuring, LTIP and bonus accruals—and to lead a small team through monthly and quarterly closes. You will coordinate with Finance, HR, FP&A, Legal, and Procurement, emphasizing accuracy, controls, and process improvement.

The role requires deep US GAAP knowledge, SOX compliance, and ERP experience (Oracle Financials).

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience in a large public or complex global org.
• CPA preferred; strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience with Oracle Financials or similar ERP; strong Excel skills.
• Proven ability to automate processes and work with AI tools.

Responsabilités

• Oversee accounting and close for payroll, benefits, LTIP, and restructuring.
• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close for non-personnel accounting.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses per US GAAP.
• Maintain SOX controls, documentation, and walkthroughs.
• Partner with Finance, HR, FP&A, Legal, Procurement, and IT on issues.
• Serve as primary contact for internal and external auditors.
• Drive automation and AI adoption with Oracle Financials; validate AI output.
• Document and improve accounting policies and workflows.
• Support broader controllership initiatives and special projects.
