Senior Manager - Construction Dispute Resolution H / F

The Senior Manager will be responsible for supporting project assignments from initial kick-off through preparation of deliverables including presentations and reports. The successful candidate aspires to a level of expertise and industry reputation with the goal of providing expert testimony within a 3 to 5 year timeframe.

Specific project responsibilities include the support of and/or direct execution of the following:

1. Organizing large quantities of construction related documentation
2. Reviewing contracts, subcontracts and other contractual documentation
3. Evaluating baseline schedule and assumptions
4. Reviewing estimates & cost reports
5. On-site construction progress evaluations
6. Preparing project status presentations & update reports
7. Analyzing contemporaneous schedule updates & revisions
8. Change order and pay application administration
9. As-built schedule analysis
10. As-planned vs As-built schedule comparison
11. Causation analysis
12. Damages quantification
13. Mediation/litigation support as required
14. Prepare opinion presentation material and demonstratives
15. Write draft expert opinion(s)
16. Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager

Qualified candidates will have 3 to 5 years of construction related industry experience and strong written communication skills. Additionally, candidates must have a working knowledge in the following:

1. P6, MS Project, Excel and other graphical communication tools
2. Project scheduling and project controls
3. Budgeting
4. Job cost reporting
5. Construction/building processes & techniques
6. Contract/risk management
7. Data management
8. Schedule and productivity reporting
9. Estimating
10. US based and valid work permit if applicable
11. B.S. in Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent work experience
12. Candidates with forensic accounting expertise and/or Architects may also be considered
13. Work with minimal supervision
14. Strong desire to develop expertise in scheduling and damages analysis with a goal of achieving expert witness recognition in 3 to 5 years
