Description du poste

Raidium develops a radiological foundation model as the “GPT” of radiology (manifesto). This new generation of AI will enable the building of an imaging biomarker factory for both clinical practice and research, tackling the complexity of precision medicine.

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Raidium, you will be a driving force in translating our cutting-edge Deep Learning research into tangible medical applications. This pivotal role will see you:

- Models: Contributing to developing and optimizing Raidium’s deep learning models specifically for medical applications, ensuring seamless integration within our product ecosystem.

- Between Research and Product: Collaborating closely with other teams, including ML engineers, researchers, software engineers, and product managers, to bridge the gap between research breakthroughs and robust product features.

- Management: Mentoring junior team members.

- Leadership: Taking ownership of key projects, such as collaborations in MRI neuroradiology, from model development and validation studies to integration into Raidium’s products.

Finally, you will work in Raidium's Parisian offices (Cochin Faculty, near Port Royal), with opportunities to spend afternoons at our partner centers with CT Scans and MRIs!

You

  • PhD or MSc + 3 years of experience in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
  • Proficiency with statistics and machine learning methods
  • Proficiency with Deep Learning and Computer Vision algorithms
  • Proficiency with Python
  • Willingness to work in the healthcare industry
  • Willingness to engage in a highly interdisciplinary role involving research and agile engineering
  • Authorization to work in France

Pluses (not exhaustive)

  • Experience in healthcare and manipulation of radiological images
  • Publication record in top-tier ML or healthcare journals
  • Experience with Self-Supervised Learning, Transformers, Semantic Segmentation, and Object Detection
  • Experience with HPC clusters and GPU infrastructures
  • Experience in agile environments
