Job Description:
  • Provide legal advice on Wealth Management activities, focusing on civil, commercial, corporate, and consumer law.
  • Advise on duties and responsibilities related to credit structuring, implementation, and MIFID regulatory aspects.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements, including credit agreements, security packages, and investment services documentation.
  • Contribute to group projects with legal recommendations.
  • Participate in legal and regulatory developments within BIL, including new product launches, in coordination with compliance, risk, product development, and IT departments.
  • Engage with external working groups (e.g., ABBL).
  • Coordinate outside counsel.
  • Support the Head of Legal and team members on various legal matters.
Qualifications:
  • University degree in law (BAC+5), ideally CCDL qualified.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a large financial institution or law firm in Luxembourg.
  • Strong knowledge of Luxembourg's banking, legal, and regulatory environment.
  • Excellent organizational and coordination skills, with attention to detail and strategic overview.
Skills and Attributes:
  • Fluent in English and French; additional languages are a plus.
  • Team player, flexible, polyvalent, and capable of handling various legal topics.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated.
