Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide legal advice on Wealth Management activities, focusing on civil, commercial, corporate, and consumer law aspects.
  2. Advise BIL Group on duties and responsibilities related to credit structuring, implementation, and MIFID regulatory aspects.
  3. Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements, including credit agreements, security packages, and investment services documentation.
  4. Contribute to BIL group projects by offering legal recommendations.
  5. Stay updated on legal and regulatory developments, including launching new products in coordination with compliance, risks, product development, IT, etc.
  6. Participate in external working groups (e.g., ABBL).
  7. Coordinate with outside counsel.
  8. Support the Head of Legal and team members on various legal matters.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in law (BAC+5), ideally CCDL qualified.
  • Qualified lawyer within the European Union.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a large financial institution or law firm in Luxembourg.
  • Strong knowledge of Luxembourg's banking, legal, and regulatory environment.
  • Excellent organization and coordination skills, with attention to detail.

  • Fluent in English and French; additional languages are a plus.
  • Team player, flexible, and polyvalent.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and self-motivated.
