Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated Apprentice Legal Counsel to join our EMEA Legal Department. Based in Rueil-Malmaison, you will work closely with the Senior Legal Counsel – EMEA to support legal matters across the region. Responsibilities include contract review and drafting, negotiations, document management, and legal follow-up. You will also gain exposure to business-related legal issues such as data privacy, clinical studies, distributor relationships, and commercial operations.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Supporting GDPR and local data protection compliance efforts.
  2. Participating in Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA), Data Processing Agreements (DPA), and analyzing business initiatives from a privacy standpoint.
  3. Assisting with agreements involving Healthcare Organizations (HCO), Healthcare Professionals (HCP), and Contract Research Organizations (CRO).
Qualifications:
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Currently completing a Master 1 in Law, preferably with a specialization in healthcare law, commercial law, data privacy, or contract law.
  • Knowledge of the medical device or pharmaceutical industry is advantageous.
  • Additional language skills, especially German or Italian, are a plus.
