Senior Legal Counsel - HOUSEHOLD NAME - LEADER IN FIELD hybrid role, Paris, excellent remuneration

We are looking for a bright, switched-on CAPA-qualified lawyer with a background in corporate or general commercial law, ideally gained at a top international or French law firm. Alternatively, you may be a CAPA-qualified lawyer who has moved in-house and developed a strong generalist or corporate background. This role is ideal for a curious and adaptable legal professional eager to broaden their skillset and engage with a wide variety of legal matters in a dynamic environment.

This opportunity is with a fast-paced, private equity-backed company that is a household name and the clear leader in its field, with offices across Europe and North America. Reporting to an inspiring, dynamic experienced and supportive leader, you will be exposed to a diverse range of intellectually stimulating legal work spanning corporate matters, regulatory and public affairs, competition, litigation, data privacy and commercial contracts.

You will also be expected to step up in the General Counsel’s absence and play a key role in delivering legal support for the company’s rapid growth. With exciting developments on the horizon, including preparations for a potential IPO, the role offers daily variety and challenge. There will be lots of M&A activity to be involved with too. In addition, you’ll contribute to the development of legal processes and governance frameworks that support a large operational team in France, while collaborating closely with the UK head office and engaging in board-level matters.
