Senior Legal Counsel

We are seeking a commercially oriented in-house counsel to support all business law matters within the EasyVista Group, primarily focusing on transactional issues for North America. The role involves advising business units on compliance, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and reporting to the VP of Legal Affairs.

Responsibilities

1. Review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts such as licensing agreements, T&Cs, NDAs, partnerships, and distribution agreements.
2. Support EasyVista employees on various business law matters and RFP/tender requirements.
3. Ensure compliance with legal standards and data protection regulations.
4. Assist with corporate law activities, coordinate with external counsel, and manage post-acquisition legal integration activities.

Profile

Education: JD degree or Canadian LLL/LLB with bar admission in at least one U.S. or Canadian jurisdiction, or a master's degree in business or commercial law in Europe. Location is flexible.

Experience: 5-10 years of successful in-house legal experience, preferably in the software/SaaS sector or with exposure to US government procurement rules. Fluency in English and at least one other language such as Spanish, German, Italian, or Portuguese is required.

Skills: Strong communication and writing skills, business-oriented, proactive, pragmatic, and team-oriented. An interest in new technologies is a plus.
