A leading company in the Oil & Gas sector is seeking a Senior/Lead Mechanical Rotating Engineer for an 8-month project starting March 2025. The role involves leading rotating equipment tasks, coordinating with clients and disciplines, and producing detailed project documentation. Successful candidates will have at least 10 years of experience and strong vendor relations.

Qualifications

• 10 years minimum experience in Oil & Gas projects.
• Experience and contacts with equipment vendors needed.
• Knowledge of applicable regulations and international standards.

Responsabilités

• Lead discipline for project, responsible for global scope of rotating equipment.
• Prepare project documentation and equipment design conditions.
• Organize meetings with clients and coordinate with other disciplines.

Job title: Senior/Lead Mechanical Rotating Engineer

Location: Paris, France
Work environment: Home office 2days /week possible after a period of 3 months
Language: Fluent English - Good written and verbal communication

ACTIVITIES

• Will report to the project management.
• Will be the leader of the discipline for the project.
• Will be responsible of the global scope for rotating equipment including general equipment list and supervision of the handling philosophy.
• Will prepare all documentation related with the project scope (refer to typical deliverable list)
• Will perform pre-sizing calculations for several equipment (Compressors, Pumps, Gas Turbo Generators & Diesel Gen.)
• Must be autonomous.
• Will organize and supervise the work of one additional engineer.

Will be in charge of:

• Project planning and progress follow-up
• Organization of the meetings with client and internal
• Interactions with client and the project management
• Coordination with other disciplines
