Job summary

Kéoni Consulting is seeking a senior Java specialist to maintain and transform complex information systems for the pension and social protection domains in France. You will work across Java 8+ and Java 21+ stacks, Spring Boot, APIs, security, and DevOps practices, collaborating with business users and IT teams.

The role requires strong analysis, autonomy, and a proven track record in delivering end-to-end releases across integration projects within agile environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Java/Spring Boot environments.
• Strong experience with API design and security (OAuth2/OIDC/JWT).
• Experience in CI/CD, testing (TDD/BDD) and code quality tools.

Context: Experience: Minimum 10 years Sector: Supplementary Pension / Social Protection This mission is part of the client's Information System Transformation Plan. This program aims in particular to modernize and centralize applications in order to improve the performance and security of processing and to optimize the IT assets dedicated to Supplementary Pension and Social Action.Main Missions The mission will be structured around two main axes: • Maintenance of existing IS applications; • Incident resolution and anomaly analysis; • User support; • Contribution to information system transformation projects; • Intervention in the analysis, design, implementation and delivery phases; • Participation in follow-up meetings, workshops and operational committees; • Collaboration with business users in Supplementary Pension and Social Action; • Coordination with IT teams and various internal and external contributors; • Intervention on both technical and functional issues; • Compliance with cost, time and quality commitments.Technical skills required: The consultant must have senior Java expertise and be proficient in: • Java 8 and Java 21+ • Spring Boot / Spring Boot Web / Spring Boot Batch • Hibernate / JPA • Maven • SQL and relational databases • REST / SOAP APIs • JSON / XML • API security: OAuth2 / OIDC / JWT • OpenAPI / Swagger • Git / GitHub / GitLab / Git Flow • Code review practices and Merge/Pull Requests • Testing: TDD / BDD / JUnit / AssertJ / Mockito • SonarQube • CI/CD: Jenkins • Containerization and orchestration: Docker / Kubernetes • Analysis of application architectures, APIs, servers and batch processes • JIRA • Postman / SOAP UI / curl • Bash scripting / Windows Batch • VS Code / GitHub Copilot • Office 365 / SharePoint.Functional/Project Skills: The ideal candidate will be more than just a Java developer.
