Job Title: Senior IT Solution Manager Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

Job Location: France

This role combines strategic oversight of WMS architectures with hands-on leadership in delivering standardized, scalable solutions aligned with DHL's operational excellence and innovation goals. The successful candidate will bridge business requirements with technical execution, ensuring seamless integration of WMS platforms into broader logistics ecosystems while advancing regional and global standardization initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of warehouse management IT solutions, from initial customer engagement and solution design to post-implementation optimization, ensuring WMS solutions meet current operational and customer needs and anticipate future requirements through agile, reusable configurations.
• Partner with Business Development, Solution Design, Operations, Operations Excellence, Customer and IT teams to champion standardization, reduce customization, and elevate customer satisfaction through robust, maintainable systems.
• Design WMS solutions that integrate with DHL\'s standardized IT products (e.g., Centiro, TMS, WCS) and align with operational best practices and customer requirements.
• Lead the technical implementation in collaboration with IT application consultants and developers, contributing hands-on to configuration and testing.
• Communicate progress, issues, risks, and scope changes to stakeholders, and propose mitigating actions when needed.
• Develop training materials and workshops to educate cross-functional teams on WMS capabilities, standardization policies, and best practices.
• Mentor junior IT Solution Managers and Application Consultants, fostering expertise in WMS configuration, requirements elicitation, and stakeholder management.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess solution performance, user adoption, and operational efficiency, identifying opportunities for process refinement or additional training.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 7+ years in IT solution management, with at least 5 years specializing in warehouse management systems (WMS) within logistics or supply chain environments.
• Proven experience designing and implementing WMS solutions (Blue Yonder, Manhattan Associates) for large-scale, multi-site operations, including integration with ERP, TMS, and automation systems.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain management and logistics processes.
• Pragmatic mindset with a focus on real-world solutions.
• Proficiency in business process modeling, requirements management tools, and Agile / Waterfall project frameworks.
• Strong understanding of logistics KPIs (e.g., order accuracy, inventory turnover) and their translation into system configurations.
• Strategic Influence: ability to persuade stakeholders to adopt standardized solutions while addressing unique customer needs.
• Analytical Rigor: expertise in root-cause analysis, gap assessment, and cost-benefit modeling for IT solutions.
• Stakeholder Management: skilled in managing relationships with senior leadership, operations teams, and external clients.
• Business fluency in French and English.
