Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Project Manager for its Client Connectivity EDI Project Management team to lead tasks related to interface project implementations between Labcorp and Client EMR/LIS software for electronic lab orders and results.

The role is full-time with a hybrid schedule for in-office collaboration, based at Burlington, NC or Durham, NC; 3 days in-office per week. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in PM, PMP is a plus, and Healthcare IT experience.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required.
• 3+ years of project management experience.
• Healthcare IT experience preferred.
• PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage Reverse Reference and HHS EDI Projects as well as LIS interface tasks
• Develop and maintain project plans, identify and secure resources for implementation
• Monitor project milestones and resources, ensuring timely delivery and escalating issues when necessary
• Coordinate activities and ensure effective communication with project stakeholders
• Track project schedules, report on progress, and take corrective action as needed
• Manage, prioritize, and elevate all tasks associated with complex Health System/Client interface project implementations
• Support efforts to improve project implementation turnaround time
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert for an assigned vendor
• Facilitate strategic and professional meetings using approved collaboration tools
• Maintain high-quality project documentation within approved workflow and tracking systems
