Role Overview: As a Senior Innovation Manager - Flexibles, you'll play a pivotal role in driving innovation and creativity within our organization. Reporting to the Innovation Director, you'll lead and develop a team of Innovation Engineers and Innovation Application Managers, supporting our Business Units and Commercial Teams in developing new product designs and conceptual ideas. You'll engage with customers to identify opportunities for innovation, while promoting our reputation as a forward-thinking and responsive organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of Innovation Engineers and Innovation Application Managers
• Conduct research and development activities, including generating blue-sky ideas, exploring new materials, and conceptualizing packaging concepts
• Develop product ranges within specific segments
• Engage with customers to identify innovation opportunities and unmet needs
• Support projects from inception to decision-making stages
• Collaborate with operational teams to improve processes and systems
• Manage the intellectual property portfolio for Flexible Films

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical/engineering discipline
• Strong technical background in polymers and packaging
• Proficiency in computer skills
• Leadership skills with attention to detail
• Excellent project management abilities
• Creative flair combined with practicality
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel, particularly within Europe
