As an Operational Buyer, you are accountable for leading and managing purchasing activities: sourcing, planning, production part approval process, tooling investments, and Quality Assurance, Risk Management in cross-functional projects, and contributing to project deliveries.

YOUR CHALLENGES

• Interact with the purchasing community from Buyers and SQEs to Managers and Vice-Presidents;
• Communicate to stakeholders in purchasing and present project status to purchasing reference groups;
• Create initiatives, communicate, and share success stories to engage people in the project;
• Provide supplier competencies for the project with the support of purchasing segment leaders.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

• ~4+ years of working experience within the automotive industry;
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field;
• Understanding the Purchasing challenges and readiness to support them;
• Works well on projects independently as well as in a team, with clear communication skills;
• Understanding cost drivers and bringing business perspectives to the project;
• Strong risk management skills;
• Developed negotiation and communication skills;
• Entrepreneurial spirit.
