RTE-International is seeking a senior power systems specialist to lead the technical delivery of HVDC/FACTS projects from tender through study execution to commissioning support in France. Based at our Lyon/Jonage center, you will coordinate study work packages, manage multi-vendor interfaces, and chair design reviews with clients and TSOs, while mentoring engineers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in power systems with HVDC/FACTS or large renewable grid connections.
• Coordinated technical teams on multi-stakeholder projects as PM or tech lead.
• Ability to run several projects in parallel and arbitrate priorities.
• Solid background in EMT, harmonic analysis and dynamic stability.
• Knowledge of converter tech (LCC, VSC/MMC) and protection.
• Strong client interface: scope negotiation and change management.
• Experience in tendering and proposal prep; business development aptitude.
• Familiar with grid codes, standards and regulatory requirements.
• PM certification (PMP/PRINCE2/IPMA) or equivalent.
• Experience in international, multicultural project environments.

Responsabilités

• Lead the technical delivery of HVDC/FACTS projects from tender to commissioning support.
• Coordinate interfaces between engineering teams, clients, TSOs, vendors and partners.
• Chair technical meetings, design reviews and workshops; present results to client management.
• Monitor progress, workload and deliverable status across the portfolio.
• Support proposals with technical strategy, workload estimations, differentiators and risk.
• Represent the company at industry events and working groups to boost visibility.
