GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer - Control System Performance to join the HVDC NPI team. You will act as a technical advisor, lead NPI activities, and push innovations in HVDC control and protection algorithms across the organisation.

The role requires strong leadership in technical governance, experience with MATLAB/Simulink, and the ability to collaborate across global teams to shape the next generation of HVDC control and protection solutions.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with power systems focus.
• Experience leading technical teams to meet deadlines.
• Strong experience in MATLAB/Simulink and HVDC control algorithms.

Responsabilités

• Act as a technical advisor to senior leadership on HVDC control system performance.
• Lead development activities within NPI programmes for VSC HVDC control and protection.
• Support the development and maintenance of HVDC control & protection algorithms roadmaps.
