Royal Canin is seeking a Health, Safety and Environment Senior Engineer to support the Site HSE Manager at our Aimargues site in France. You will lead HSE program deployment, drive compliance with ISO standards, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to reduce risk and elevate site safety culture.

You will conduct risk assessments, champion training initiatives, and ensure timely investigations of incidents with robust corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Experience in HSE within a complex industrial environment.
• FMCG sector experience
• Deep knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards and local/ EU legislation.
• Ability to conduct environmental risk analyses (waste, water, emissions).
• Proven ability to lead accident investigations using Root Cause Analysis and CAPA actions.
• Strong safety culture with training capability.
• Experience reporting on environmental performance indicators.

• Manage suppliers: monitor, review and identify deficiencies.
• Collect data and analyze cost factors and market dynamics for decision making.
• Continuously improve existing HSE processes.
• Draft specifications for existing/new contracts.
• Ensure site compliance with HSE standards and regulations.
• Develop and deploy site HSE programs and training.
• Investigate HSE incidents and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Lead safety culture initiatives and manage emergency response readiness.
• Oversee environmental and industrial hygiene risk measures and reporting.
