Amazon International Stores is seeking a Senior HR Regional Partner to advise managers across Europe on people-related issues, policy, and compliance. Based in France, you will partner with HR colleagues to deliver high-quality consultancy, drive talent initiatives, and uphold Earth's Best Employer principles.
This role emphasizes data-driven guidance, stakeholder collaboration, and country-level policy work, including works council interactions.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced HR generalist to join our growing team of HR Regional Partners, based in EMEA. If you would like to join an innovative and customer-obsessed HR team, striving to be Earth’s Best Employer and offering strong career growth opportunities, please read on for more details!
Amazon HR Regional Partners (HRPs) in the EMEA region act as consultants to more than 4,000 people managers, based across 20 different countries. Operating autonomously and delivering high judgement advice, HRPs help to enable an exceptional customer and employee experience, as we strive to be Earth’s Best Employer.
Amazon HRPs actively collaborate with business and HR stakeholders, including:
Our HRPs have strong knowledge of their country’s employment labour law, are skilled in consulting on Amazon policy and build trust by providing high judgement guidance on people related topics. Amazon HRPs work as ‘generalists’ across multiple Corporate businesses, partnering with people leaders to provide quick, efficient, high-quality consultation and guidance.
This role is performed through an innovative customer relationship Management tool, which enables this team to be uniquely positioned to identify trending issues and themes through data and inform consequent decisions and initiatives. The HRP team’s role is also to standardise best practises across EMEA, due to our extensive insights across business lines.
Whilst our HRPs consult primarily with people managers, we sometimes give support to employees on topics that may be highly sensitive and cannot be self-served. Alongside this core case work, HRPs own policy and compliance at country level. They also both input and lead important projects that are aligned to our entire teams’ annual goals and strategy, through taking part in subject matter expert groups improving key HR processes (such as Talent/Performance management) at EU level, or individual project assignments at country, region or EU level.
This role will provide support to managers who are based in France and/or managers whose teams are based in France. Collaboration with Works Council representatives is required and therefore previous Works Council experience is a plus.
Alongside the core case work, the HRP team has responsibility for policy and compliance at country level, which necessitates staying informed about any legislative or Amazon driven updates and utilizing strong written skills to change policy documents. Additionally, an important part of our HRP team's career development is to participate or lead subject matter expert groups, focused on improving key HR processes (such as Talent or Performance management) across EMEA, or individual project assignments at country, or regional level.
