Chartres plant is THE Coty luxury fragrance site, based an hour from Paris in the heart of Cosmetic Valley. It develops, industrializes, and produces luxury fragrances, manufacturing 65 million units annually. The site is on a growth journey with the ambition to make “Chartres Le Luxe par Excellence” a reality and a source of pride.

ROLE

Coty seeks a talented individual to join the Chartres plant Leadership Team, reporting to the HR Director Monaco & Supply Chain France and operationally to the Site General Manager.

As Senior HR Business Partner, you will ensure legal compliance, implement and improve HR processes, develop talent and organizational capabilities, and maintain positive labor relations within a culture of continuous improvement.

You will be a hands-on leader, contributing to daily challenges and supporting the site strategy “Chartres Le Luxe par Excellence”.

The role involves a broad range of activities, offering a chance to make a positive impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Guarantee legal compliance and implement Coty HR systems, policies, and processes efficiently.
  • Manage daily HR operations at the site.
  • Implement compensation policies and monitor benefits, including health & life insurance programs.
  • Ensure adherence to HSE standards and contribute to HSE programs.
  • Deploy HR programs in collaboration with plant leadership and liaise with labor authorities and occupational health services.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and best practices to the site leadership and managers.
  • Develop a talented organization focused on achieving objectives and future growth, with support from the HR Director Monaco & Supply Chain France.
  • Ensure training and development plans support plant objectives and offer diverse career opportunities.
  • Maintain open, mature relations with the works council and foster a positive social climate.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

Successful candidates will have solid HR experience in manufacturing.

  • Minimum 7 years as HR Business Partner in a challenging manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to foster high performance organizations.
  • Servant leadership mindset and strong connection to manufacturing realities.
  • Excellent communication skills in all organizational levels, including English.
  • Knowledge of labor law and negotiation skills with unions.
  • Experience in HR process improvement and change management.
  • Rigorous with attention to detail while maintaining the big picture.
