Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HR Business Partnering or similar roles.
  • Deep understanding of French employment law and Works Council management.
  • Proficient in HR systems, with Workday experience considered an asset.

We’re currently partnering with an innovative global payments and software organisation in their search for an experienced People Partner to support their rapidly growing French operation.

As part of the global People team, this role is pivotal in aligning HR strategy with business objectives, enhancing employee engagement, and ensuring best-in-class HR operations across the region. Reporting into the Senior Director People Partners, the People Partner will act as a trusted advisor to local leadership, helping to deliver scalable and compliant HR solutions that support their ambitious growth.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Act as a strategic partner to business leaders and managers across the France region.
  • Support the full employee lifecycle – onboarding, performance, development, and off boarding.
  • Advise on and ensure compliance with French labour laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Lead employee relations matters including grievances, disciplinary procedures, and terminations.
  • Represent the business in Works Council meetings and ensure effective local consultation.
  • Drive local implementation of global HR initiatives, processes, and engagement strategies.
  • Collaborate with HR Centres of Excellence (CoEs), including Talent, Reward, and L&D, to support local execution.
  • Leverage data and insights to inform people strategies and identify areas for continuous improvement.

Required Experience :

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HR Business Partner, Generalist, or similar HR roles.
  • Deep understanding of French employment law and Works Council management.
  • Proven ability to build strong, trust-based relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced, matrixed, international environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in HR systems (Workday experience is a plus).
  • Fluent French and professional English are essential.
