Alice & Bob is developing the first universal, fault-tolerant quantum computer. We seek a Senior HPC Engineer to design, optimize, and maintain high-performance software and compute backends for chip design and calibration.

Join a diverse team of 250+ experts and help scale simulation pipelines across CPU/GPU platforms in cloud and on-prem environments. Fluency in English and advanced HPC experience are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s in scientific computing or related field.
• 5+ years designing and optimizing production-grade scientific software, incl. 2+ years industrial.
• Strong programming in Python, JAX and Rust.
• Advanced HPC skills: MPI, OpenMP, GPU workloads, scheduling and profiling.

Responsabilités

• Drive performance improvements of scientific computing tools across CPU and GPU architectures.
• Profile, diagnose, and optimize bottlenecks from algorithms to hardware.
• Build and scale distributed simulation pipelines for complex quantum system models.
