Adoc Talent Management is looking for a Senior High-Speed Signal Integrity/SerDes System Engineer (M/F) for a leading global ICT company specializing in Cloud and AI, telecommunications, consumer, and mobile businesses, to support the development of next-generation high-speed systems. The company is a well-known multinational corporation, with a research center in Grenoble expanding its team focused on high-speed technology research.

Responsibilities

As a Senior High-Speed Signal Integrity/SerDes System Engineer, you will work within the High-Speed High-Frequency team in the Board Engineering department at the Grenoble Research Center.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Leading high-speed (112Gbps+) SerDes system experimental validation and correlating results with simulations;
• Collaborating with the team in China through technical reviews, regular reporting, and project planning;
• Developing technology roadmaps and planning projects related to high-speed interconnection, providing technical insights into high-speed systems.

You should have proven experience with technologies such as 28, 56, 112, 224 Gbps, a solid understanding of manufacturing constraints, and industrial operations. You will also initiate projects with external partners and contribute to conferences.

This position offers diverse tasks and promising career prospects for candidates with a strong network and technical expertise in the field. It is available immediately as a permanent (CDI) position in Grenoble.

Candidate Profile

You should possess a Master's degree or higher, with a PhD preferred, in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Communication Engineering, Electromagnetic Science, or similar. Candidates should have at least 8 years of experience in a comparable role.

Key criteria include:

• Deep knowledge and extensive experience in system hardware architecture design for telecom/communication products;
• Proven experience in developing high-speed products/prototypes at 56Gbps and beyond;
• Strong understanding of high-speed SerDes architecture, including Rx/Tx SerDes PHY, equalization techniques, CDR, and DSP challenges;
• Familiarity with high-speed hardware components like SerDes, ASICs, packages, DSPs, PCBs, and connectors;
• Proficiency in high-speed serial link experiments and correlation with simulations using tools like oscilloscopes and VNAs;
• Knowledge of industry standards such as IEEE, CEI-224G, or InfiniBand.

Technical Skills

• Experience in modeling and simulation of SerDes using Python (preferred), Matlab, Verilog-A, or ADS;
• Proficiency with signal integrity tools such as HFSS and CST.
