This position is responsible for supporting the Director of Group Sales in all sales activities to achieve hotel goals. The Senior Sales Manager will represent the Arlo Brand, embracing its values and culture in every interaction.

Responsibilities and Authorities
  • Proactively lead and generate new business opportunities, drive pricing, direct sales, and results for designated accounts and market segments.
  • Manage account potential performance, budgets, forecasts, and team targets; prepare and implement strategic sales plans.
  • Plan and execute sales missions aligned with the sales & marketing plan, including co-op initiatives with key partners.
  • Monitor monthly account performance to ensure production goals are met.
  • Provide monthly reports on account activities and production to meet targets.
  • Participate in industry trade shows, events, conventions, and sales trips to engage with key decision-makers.
  • Conduct agency and corporate presentations, meetings, site inspections, and client events to develop product knowledge and relationships.
  • Ensure correct filling of loading request forms, rate loading, and tracking of production.
  • Ensure group resumes and BEOs are completed accurately for smooth booking operations.
  • Contribute to the development and guidance of the sales team and strategies.
  • Review STR, Demand Report, Rate360, and Agency360 reports regularly.
  • Submit RFPs on time and ensure rates are approved by DOSM.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with hotel clients.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Director of Sales & Marketing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or related field from an accredited institution.
  • At least 4 years of experience as a Sales Manager is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Apps, Opera, and other relevant computer programs.
  • Positive, enthusiastic attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and intellectual curiosity.
  • Experience marketing luxury and innovative brands is a plus.
