Job summary

Jobgether SRL is partnering with a client in France to hire a Senior Software Engineer (Golang/TypeScript/React) for a data-intensive platform. You will own features end-to-end, designing and building Go backends and React/TypeScript frontends in a scalable environment.

You will deploy via Docker, work with AWS and CI/CD pipelines, and influence engineering standards while delivering reliable, observable systems for large financial datasets. Remote collaboration across teams is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Strong experience building production-grade software systems.
• Advanced Golang proficiency for backend services.
• Frontend expertise in React and TypeScript.
• SQL skills with MariaDB or similar databases.
• Experience with Docker and container deployment.
• CI/CD experience, GitLab CI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, maintain, and enhance Golang microservices and React/TypeScript frontend applications.
• Take full ownership of features from ideation and technical design through implementation, deployment, and ongoing improvement.
• Build performant, accessible, and polished customer-facing interfaces using React, TypeScript, and established design systems.
• Develop reliable backend services and web application backends using Go and deploy applications through Docker-based environments.
• Make architectural and technical decisions while balancing existing systems, new technologies, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Improve application and service performance, reliability, monitoring, and observability.
• Establish and maintain high engineering standards through clean-code practices, code reviews, documentation, and consistent development patterns.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders across the organisation to understand business requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
• Contribute to automation, process improvements, and new technologies that improve the efficiency and quality of engineering teams and business operations.
• Work with large-scale financial datasets and contribute to systems that collect, process, validate, and serve data to users.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to the continuous reliability and improvement of production systems.
• Share technical knowledge, communicate complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.
• Support and contribute to CI/CD, infrastructure, and observability initiatives where appropriate.
