Idlen Inc. is seeking a Senior Game Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. You will conduct functional, regression, and exploratory testing across mobile, PC, and console games, identify and document defects, and validate new features before release.

The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and collaboration with developers, designers, and product managers to ensure a high-quality player experience.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Perform functional, regression, exploratory, compatibility, and usability testing of games.
• Test gameplay mechanics, levels, UI/UX, animations, audio, controls, and in-game features.
• Identify, reproduce, document, and track bugs using bug-tracking tools.
• Provide detailed bug reports including steps to reproduce, severity, priority, screenshots, videos, and logs where required.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure resolved defects do not introduce new issues.
• Validate new features, game builds, patches, updates, and releases.
• Perform testing across different devices, operating systems, screen resolutions, and hardware configurations.
• Analyze game crashes, performance issues, connectivity problems, and other technical defects.
• Work closely with developers to investigate and resolve critical and high-priority defects.
• Review game requirements, specifications, and test cases to identify potential quality risks.
• Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios.
• Participate in daily QA meetings, sprint planning, defect triage, and release discussions.
• Mentor junior game testers and provide guidance on testing methodologies and best practices.
• Support release validation and provide QA status reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure testing activities are completed within defined timelines and quality standards.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Game Tester / Senior Game QA Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in testing mobile, PC, or console games and will be responsible for identifying bugs, validating gameplay functionality, and ensuring a high-quality player experience before release.

The candidate should have excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with developers, game designers, product managers, and other QA team members.

Required Skills

• 3–6+ years of experience in Game Testing / Game QA.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
• Hands-on experience with mobile, PC, or console game testing.
• Experience with bug-tracking and test-management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar platforms.
• Strong knowledge of functional, regression, smoke, sanity, compatibility, and exploratory testing.
• Excellent bug-reporting and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good understanding of game development life cycle and software development life cycle.
• Ability to independently plan and execute testing activities.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Basic understanding of game logs, crash reports, and debugging.
• Experience with API or backend testing.
• Knowledge of performance testing and basic profiling tools.
• Automation testing experience using tools such as Appium, Selenium, or relevant game-testing frameworks.
• Experience testing multiplayer, online, or live-service games.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
