Rely seeks a CDI Functional Safety & SOTIF Assurance Lead to oversee transverse safety authority across the stack. The role covers ISO 26262, ISO 21448/SOTIF, HARA, safety goals, and ASIL arguments, ensuring robust safety evidence and governance.

The incumbent will challenge architectures, define evidence plans for architecture, software, integration, and tests, and align safety activities with cyber, V&V and safety decisions across T1/T2/T3 domains.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in functional safety, SOTIF, or safety assurance across automotive, rail, aerospace, defence or related safety-critical engineering.
• Proven experience delivering safety cases and assurance activities across complex architectures.
• Strong capability to arbitrate safety arguments and align with cyber, V&V and architecture decisions.

Responsabilités

• Define and maintain ISO 26262 and ISO 21448/SOTIF assurance framework for T1/T2/T3.
• Lead HARA, safety goals, and safety concepts including ASIL arguments.
• Define expected safety evidence for architecture, software, integration, HIL and field tests.
• Challenget ODD limitations, vehicle assumptions, degraded modes and autonomy-related functions.
• Maintain the safety case and ensure evidence is visible to programme leadership.
• Align safety evidence with cyber, V&V and architecture decisions.
