Air Liquide Europe Business Services (ALEBS) was created in 2019 in Lisbon, Portugal, with the mandate to provide financial services for Air Liquide European entities. In four years, it has expanded to over 400 employees across three locations: Lisbon, Tomar, and Guarda. The scope has extended beyond European affiliates to include entities in Africa, Middle East, India, and now encompasses not only Finance but also Human Resources.
Maintain and develop digital HR management solutions (Workday) to improve HR and Payroll efficiency while ensuring a world-class user experience. Support Workday Time Tracking and Absence modules across the Asia Pacific region and globally within Air Liquide.
This role involves partnering with the shared services team, HR Business Partners, and payroll providers to ensure accurate configuration of Absence and Time modules in Workday. Responsibilities include creating and modifying Absence Plans, Time Entry Templates, Calculations, Codes, Eligibility Rules, Accruals, Business Processes, Reports, Calculated Fields, and EIBs. It also involves communicating effectively with various stakeholders, contributing to projects, troubleshooting system issues, proposing enhancements, and ensuring successful system integrations and updates.
The role also includes maintaining holiday and work schedule calendars, managing system issues, coordinating biannual Workday releases, supervising testing, delivering training, and maintaining documentation and communication with stakeholders.
Minimum of 5 years supporting global Workday Time Tracking and Absence configurations, with deep knowledge of these modules and experience supporting Payroll integrations. Certifications in Workday Absence and Time Tracking are preferred, as is prior people management experience.
Extensive knowledge of Workday Time Tracking and Absence modules, project management skills, and proficiency in building reports and custom fields.
Digital savviness, emotional agility, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Bilingual French and professional English; additional languages are an asset.
