Team

The Game Tech team builds shared tools and platforms that power the growth of Voodoo’s mobile games. By providing essential capabilities, such as remote configuration, A/B testing, user segmentation, and monetization management, we help studios move faster and scale efficiently. Our solutions include distributed client SDKs and resilient frontend and backend systems.

We design our backend to handle more than 500 requests per second, supporting key services like in-app purchase (IAP) validation, user segmentation, remote configuration delivery, and game publishing under the Voodoo ecosystem. After launching a top-tier experimentation platform and various LiveOps tools, we're now focused on advancing user segmentation, improving payment integrations, and enhancing user experience across our platforms.

This position can be done fully remote within a European timezone (+/- 2h CET)

Profile

• Extensive professional experience as a Fullstack Developer (5 years minimum not including internships)

• Extensive proven track record of successful product development such as web applications (mobile and/or desktop) that provide high value to internal/B2B/B2C end-users

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Pragmatic, adaptable, and result-oriented with a problem-solving approach

• Ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment and deal with change

MUST Haves

• Strong experience in a Object Oriented or Functional programing language

• Strong experience working with NoSQL and SQL databases

• Strong experience dealing with web back-end complex topics, for example, breaking down a monolith into microservices, building a brand new system from scratch, building a rule-based engine with complex business rules, handling integrations with complex 3rd parties

• Experience working with frontend web applications using a javascript framework

• Experience working with a cloud provider such as AWS, GCP or Azure

• Experience implementing automated tests

• Experience with highly available systems on scale

• Basic DevOps skills for maintaining web application environments: Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes

Nice to Have

• Experience with infrastructure as a code

• Familiarity with principles such as Domain-Driven Design (DDD) or clean architecture

• Familiarity with asynchronous programming

• Familiarity with A/B testing approaches

• Experience in the Gaming industry
