We're Hiring : Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Location : Le Kremlin-Bicêtre (Paris area, France)

What you'll do

As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you'll play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining the software that powers our DNA On Demand platform - from the web console to instrument control.

Your mission :

1. Lead the development and maintenance of our web-based Console application (TypeScript, React, NestJS)
2. Shape UX / UI workflows based on real-world user feedback.
3. Take part in software architecture discussions and code reviews.
4. Work with the QA team on software testing.
5. Support field engineers with debugging and troubleshooting.
6. Collaborate cross-functionally with scientists, engineers, and product managers to define features and validate requirements.
7. Mentor other teams (bioinformatics, data science) on software skills and best practices.
8. Contribute to documentation and help with software deployment and DevOps activities.
9. Own your projects, meet deadlines, and deliver quality software.

What we're looking for

Required :

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related technical field.
2. 3-6 years of relevant professional experience.
3. Strong experience with TypeScript (or JavaScript) and web development.
4. Familiarity with React, NestJS, or similar modern web frameworks.
5. Good understanding of software design and architecture principles.
6. Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a diverse team.
7. Comfortable using Git and modern CI / CD tools.

Nice to have :

1. Knowledge of Linux / Unix environments, Python, MQTT, Protocol Buffers.
2. Expertise in object-oriented programming.
3. Experience in biotech, instrumentation, or embedded systems, IoT.
4. Interest or experience in mentoring interns, contractors, or junior developers.
